DR. GIOVANNI TRIMBLE'S VISION

Dr. Giovanni Trimble received a Doctor of Philosophy degree in human sexuality with a clinical focus from the California Institute of Integral Studies. During their doctoral studies, they conducted a national research study on gender and sexuality. They hold a Master of Counseling and Art Therapy from Adler University, a Bachelor of Fine Art from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and a Completion of Foundation Studies in Fine Art From Pratt Institute in New York. 
 
Dr. Giovanni Trimble has 11 years of experience using arts-based methods to empower agender, trans, GQ, and non-binary people. and over 7 years of experience working as a psychotherapist. They are a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of California and specialize in issues related to gender, sex, and relationships.  Gio provides psychotherapy from a queer, intersectional feminist, neurodiversity, Trauma-Informed, strength-based, existential, and client-centered perspective that is informed by Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).

D. Giovanni Trimble has over 6 years of experience providing psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and polycules as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.

They specialize in providing culturally sensitive and gender-affirming care to all and have provided gender consultations and gender health plans to over 1,000 trans and non-binary clients.

Dr. Giovanni Trimble is a Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist (ASDCS) and works from a neurodiversity perspective utilizing art therapy.

Dr. Giovanni Trimble is a behavioral scientist, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California, Nevada, and Oregon, and program management leader with over 18 years of experience driving human-centered innovation across technology, wellness, and organizational strategy.
As Founder of Action Intimacy, he leads consulting and design initiatives that integrate behavioral science, UX research, and organizational strategy to create ethical, scalable systems that align people, performance, and technology.
